Information we collect
When you use SafeMix, we may collect the following information:
- Your name and email address when you create an account
- Mobile phone numbers you provide, including caregiver phone numbers entered when sending a text invitation
- Medication names, dosages, and schedules that you enter manually
- Supplement, peptide, and over-the-counter product information you add
- App usage data and interaction logs
- Device information such as operating system and app version
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide medication reminders and adherence tracking
- Perform drug interaction and side effect checks within the app
- Send transactional SMS messages related to caregiver invitations when you choose Text as the invite method
- Improve app performance and user experience
- Communicate with you about your account or app updates
SMS / text messages
If you use SafeMix caregiver invitation by text, we may use a phone number you provide to send transactional SMS related to caregiver invitations. These messages are not marketing or promotional advertisements.
- We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in / consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
- Message frequency varies and is typically one message per caregiver invitation.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of further SMS messages from that number, or HELP for assistance.

Data storage and security
Your health data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. We use industry-standard encryption to protect your information in transit and at rest. Mobile numbers used for caregiver invitations are handled only as needed to deliver those transactional messages and operate the caregiver feature.
Third-party services
SafeMix uses third-party services including Apple In-App Purchases and Google Play Billing to process subscription payments, and messaging providers (such as Twilio) to deliver transactional SMS when you send a caregiver text invitation. These services have their own privacy policies. Payment information is governed by the stores; we do not store or access your full payment card details. Children's privacy
SafeMix is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time through the app settings. You may also request account deletion by contacting us at support@safemix.org. Recipients of caregiver invitation SMS may reply STOP to opt out of further messages from that number.
